Delivering a high-spec Community Diagnostics Hub (CDH) for Woking Community Hospital.
Merit is currently delivering a new Community Diagnostics Hub (CDH) at Woking Community Hospital, marking a significant step forward for both the hospital and the wider North West Surrey community. This much-needed facility will greatly expand diagnostic testing capacity, offering essential services like x-rays, ultrasounds, and cardiac and respiratory testing. The goal is to reduce patient waiting times and provide quicker access to the vital healthcare services.
The 500m² facility, seamlessly connected to the existing hospital, will include state-of-the-art MRI and PET CT scanner suites, consultation rooms, and a welcoming reception area, all designed to enhance the patient experience and ensure smoother, faster care.
To bring this important project to life, we are utilising Merit's innovative UltraPOD® SFS Variant, which represents a cutting-edge construction solution. This approach significantly reduces project timelines, making the facility more affordable without compromising on quality.
Scheduled for completion in November 2024, the new CDH will be a transformative addition to Woking Community Hospital, helping to improve lives through faster diagnostics and more timely care.

- Adaptable to specific client requests: As part of this scheme, Merit is installing foundations for an MRI, CT and mammography units, at specific request by the client.
